1. Information We Collect
MenoGlow collects the following data to provide our nutrition coaching service:
- Profile information: First name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, exercise level, and menopause status (if applicable). Your age is derived from your date of birth.
- Health & fitness logs: Food intake, weight entries, exercise sessions, sleep data, hydration, mood, and symptom tracking.
- Apple Health (HealthKit) data: If you grant permission, we read the following HealthKit data types: sleep analysis, workout/exercise sessions, active energy burned (calories), and step count. This data is used solely to populate your health logs within the app and is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
- Authentication data: If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from the identity provider to create your account. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.
- Third-party integrations: If you connect Fitbit, we store OAuth tokens and import sleep and exercise data on your behalf.
- Push notification tokens: If you enable notifications, we store the subscription endpoint to deliver reminders.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide personalized nutrition and fitness coaching.
- To track your progress toward health goals.
- To send optional push notification reminders.
- To improve the quality of our AI coaching recommendations.
We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or data-mining purposes.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and cloud infrastructure. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services (such as Apple Health/HealthKit, Fitbit, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and AI providers) to enhance functionality. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as you use the app. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen within the app. You may also request deletion by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account directly in the app or contact us at the email below.
7. Children's Privacy
MenoGlow is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
